Job summary

MR D.I.Y. is seeking an analytics-oriented professional to support procurement and supply chain decisions. The role focuses on building simulation models, forecasting demand, evaluating pricing and stock impact, and enhancing procurement analytics across platforms.

The candidate should have a background in analytics or related fields and 1–2 years in retail or FMCG. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, BI tools, and Python is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in retail, supply chain, FMCG, or procurement is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools, Python) and structured thinking.
• Strong ability to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• What-if simulations to evaluate business scenarios.
• Assess impact of pricing, display, and stock changes.
• Design optimization models for inventory allocation across stores.
• Balance constraints such as stock availability, demand, and capacity.
• Create and maintain analytics that drive business on various platforms (e.g., dashboards).

Requirements

• Able to think from business perspective first.


• A background in analytics, business, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related fields.


• 1–2 years of experience in retail, supply chain, FMCG, or procurement is preferred.


• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools, Python (pandas, sklearn)) and structured thinking.


• Strong ability to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
