Job summary

Merimen in Malaysia is seeking a Data Scientist to develop and deploy ML solutions powering our products and business decisions. You will work with data, build models, and translate ideas into real-world applications.

The role welcomes fresh graduates or those with 1–3 years of analytics experience. You will collaborate with DevOps, build automated model training and deployment workflows, and contribute to production ML practices.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in machine learning or data analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL; familiarity with APIs and Docker.

What you will do

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate machine learning workflows into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and enhance data pipelines and API-based services.
• Support ongoing AI product improvements and enhancements.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in machine learning or data analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with SQL and working with databases.
• Basic understanding of APIs and containerization tools such as Docker.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in production-level machine learning practices.
• Exposure to ML flow or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in financial services or fraud analytics is an added advantage.
