This role is encouraged to drive the development of statistical and machine learning models, build robust analytical frameworks, and translate data into actionable insights that drive business growth.

The role is responsible for the end‑to‑end lifecycle of analytical solutions – from business understanding, data discovery, modelling, testing, validation, automation and deployment while working closely with Business Analysts, BI Developers and Data Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate predictive, prescriptive, and causal models (segmentation, churn propensity, uplift modelling, forecasting, etc.).
  • Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and hypothesis testing to support business questions.
  • Extract and manipulate raw datasets from Data Warehouse (Fabric) and other sources using T‑SQL and Python; work with Data Engineers to optimise datasets and pipelines needed for modelling.
  • Ensure data integrity, audibility, reproducibility, and adherence to internal standards for data quality, variable definitions, and modelling logic.
  • Work with BI Developers to visualise model outcomes and analytical insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks.
  • Develop clear modelling documentation, maintain version control of scripts, and conduct validation checks on data integrity and analytical accuracy.
  • Stay updated on new modelling techniques, analytics tools, and data science frameworks; suggest improvements to data flows, modelling processes, or analytical tooling; give to team learning sessions and collaborative knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science AND 3‑5 years of data science or analytics experience.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills (clean, readable code).
  • Built and deployed 1‑2 ML/statistical models in production or for decision‑making.
  • Can demonstrate an example where your analysis or model impacted a business decision or brought value.
  • Experience with Azure (or similar cloud) and Agile environments.
  • Able to communicate ideas clearly; self‑motivated and follows up on work impact.
  • Forum Contributor is a plus; experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods; familiarity with Power BI; basic knowledge of data engineering concepts.
  • Basic understanding of Generative AI & LLMs (RAG, Prompt Engineering, etc.); Japanese or Korean language skills are a plus.
Benefits
  • We offer a market leading annual performance bonus (subject to eligibility).
  • Our range of benefits varies by country and includes diverse health plans, initiatives for work‑life balance, transportation support, and a flexible holiday plan with additional incentives.
