Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of data scientists, data engineers, and ML engineers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.
• Oversee the smooth operation of AI products, proactively monitoring performance and resolving issues within SLAs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Play a key role in recruiting and establishing the AI & Data Science team in Malaysia.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to successfully deploy and integrate AI solutions.
• Manage and prioritize AI‑driven initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in LLMs, transformer models, vector databases, RAG frameworks, LangChain, and related AI technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and experience with cloud computing platforms.
• Hands‑on experience in deploying AI models and working with MLOps tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow.
