Job summary

RegASK is expanding its Data Test Engineer team to ensure scalable data quality across ETL pipelines, cloud data services, and BI dashboards. The role focuses on end-to-end data testing, automation, and collaboration with data engineers and product teams.

Ideal candidates will validate data from source systems to Power BI, implement automated tests for UI, API, and data layers, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Strong SQL and Azure data services experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB aggregation pipelines, indexing, and query optimization.
• Working knowledge of Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage, or Databricks).
• Experience testing Power BI reports — validating DAX measures, data models, and visualizations.
• Proficiency in at least one automation framework: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or PyTest.
• API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
• Strong SQL skills for cross-validation against relational sources.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for ETL pipelines moving data into and out of MongoDB and Azure data services.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and transformation logic from source systems through Power BI dashboards.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and data layer testing.
• Write MongoDB aggregation queries and SQL to verify data integrity and reconciliation.
• Test Power BI reports and dashboards for data correctness, calculation logic, and refresh reliability.
• Validate Azure Data Factory pipelines, Azure Functions, and related data workflows.
