Job summary

Randstad Malaysia currently seeks a mid-level Data Engineer to design scalable cloud data pipelines, transform raw data into actionable business insights, and collaborate with stakeholders.

You will work with Snowflake or Databricks using SQL and Python, build dashboards in Tableau/Looker, and apply light DevOps practices with Git/GitHub. Hybrid/remote flexibility offered to support distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or related field.

The Role

We are looking for a mid-level Data Engineer to build scalable cloud pipelines and transform raw data into clear, actionable business insights.

Must-Have Hard Skills

• The Cloud Data Stack: 2–4 years of hands-on experience using SQL and Python inside Snowflake or Databricks.
• Data Visualization: Proven ability to build clean, intuitive dashboards in Tableau or Looker to make data easily understandable for stakeholders.
• Light DevOps: Solid understanding of Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.

Note: Traditional RDBMS experience (MySQL/Oracle) alone will not suffice; you must have experience handling data at cloud scale.
