Job summary

Xiaomi Technology in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a data engineer to help operate and evolve our overseas data warehouse covering mobile, IoT, and app data domains. You will build robust ETL/ELT pipelines and implement analytics applications to transform raw data into actionable insights.

You will work with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala), apply data modeling concepts, and create visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/DS or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
• Basic data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Basic knowledge of data mining or ML concepts is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork; Mandarin/English desired for regional collaborations.
