Job summary

techstreet is seeking a data engineer to design, build and manage our data and systems infrastructure. You will ensure data is organized, accessible and secure, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The role involves designing data models, developing data warehouses, integrating data from multiple sources, and collaborating with business users and IT teams to deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in database engineering or database management.
• Understand data architecture, data modelling and operating technologies.
• Expertise in database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models to support business processes.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse; build and manage scalable data storage solutions.
