Job summary

Accenture Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Data & Cloud Strategy Consultant to design end-to-end transformation initiatives across data architecture, cloud platforms, and operating models.

You will work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to shape technology strategies and support large-scale programs that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data strategy, data architecture, cloud transformation, technology consulting, or related fields.
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs from strategy through execution against defined roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, data management, and modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud ecosystems including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking capabilities with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design target-state data architectures, operating models, and governance frameworks to support priorities.
• Develop data and cloud transformation roadmaps, including migration and modernization planning.

• Establish data governance, data management, and value realization frameworks to measure impact.
• Collaborate across cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, analytics, and business functions.
• Engage senior stakeholders to align investments with strategic priorities and business cases.
• Contribute to client proposals, presentations, thought leadership, and practice development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technology challenges to define data and cloud-enabled transformation strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Design target-state data architectures, operating models, and governance frameworks to support business priorities
• Develop data and cloud transformation roadmaps, including migration, modernization, and implementation planning initiatives
• Architect and support the delivery of scalable cloud-based data platforms such as data lakes and data warehouses
• Establish data governance, data management, and value realization frameworks to measure transformation success and business impact
• Collaborate with teams across cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, analytics, and business functions to deliver integrated solutions
• Engage senior stakeholders to align technology investments with strategic priorities and support business case development
• Contribute to client proposals, presentations, thought leadership, and practice development activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data strategy, data architecture, cloud transformation, technology consulting, or related fields
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs from strategy through execution against defined roadmaps
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, data management, and modern cloud-based data platforms
• Knowledge of cloud ecosystems including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking capabilities with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and business audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise data modernization and cloud migration initiatives
• Familiarity with data operating models, data quality frameworks, and master data management concepts
• Experience supporting business development, proposal creation, or client-facing consulting engagements
• Relevant cloud, data, or architecture certifications
• Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural project environments
