Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced MEP QA/QC Engineer to support a large-scale data centre project in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

This on-site role focuses on overseeing QA/QC across mechanical and electrical works to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will manage QA/QC activities throughout the project lifecycle, review ITPs and quality docs, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to achieve quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in construction/MEP/mission-critical projects.
• Experience with data centre projects preferred.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA/QC activities for MEP installations across the project lifecycle.
• Conduct on-site inspections, audits and quality assessments.
• Review ITPs, method statements and quality documentation.
• Identify, track and close non-conformances and defects.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to meet quality standards.
• Support handover and commissioning readiness.
