Job summary

Google Inc. operates advanced data centers and is hiring a Facilities Technician to operate, monitor, and repair HVAC and electrical systems within our facilities in Malaysia.

You will inspect, maintain, and repair critical data center components, read blueprints, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and environmental standards are met as part of a collaborative, global team. Qualifications

• 5 years of Mechanical/HVAC experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Experience reading blueprints/schematics/sequence of operations.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks and use safety equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems such as piping and mechanical components.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians, read blueprints, and assess systems.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of water pumps, HVAC, and control systems.
