Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Energy Manager to serve as a core technical member of our international project team. You will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and optimization of campus-level energy systems for our overseas data centers, with a focus on microgrid architecture and diverse power generation technologies. Your expertise will ensure our facilities achieve top-tier reliability, efficiency, and sustainability in their energy supply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Microgrid System Design & Integration: Lead the overall planning, technology selection, and integration of microgrids for overseas data center campuses, encompassing distributed generation, energy storage systems, and intelligent energy dispatch.
  • Power Generation Technology Application: Spearhead solution design, capacity planning, and grid-connection assessment for distributed energy resources such as gas turbines, diesel generators, PV, and wind power.
  • Energy System Optimization: Develop energy models and conduct simulation analyses to optimize the overall energy architecture, reduce PUE, and improve lifecycle cost-effectiveness.
  • International Project Support: Provide full-cycle support for overseas projects, including developing technical specifications, evaluating vendors, and guiding on‑site implementation.
  • Cross‑cultural Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate and coordinate with overseas clients, local design institutes, utility companies, and international equipment suppliers.
Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy system planning and design, with a background in large‑scale industrial or infrastructure projects; experience in the data center industry is highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of microgrid architecture, operational modes, control strategies, and key components.
  • Familiarity with the application and characteristics of various power generation technologies (e.g., gas, diesel, renewables).
  • Strong English communication skills, with proficiency in writing technical documentation and conducting technical discussions and presentations.

Preferred:

  • Proven experience working on overseas projects and familiarity with international standards and codes.
  • Successful project experience in renewable energy integration and/or battery energy storage systems (BESS).
