Job summary

Hirehub Group seeks an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead data center project civil works in Kempas, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will oversee foundations, structures, finishes, and external infra while coordinating engineers and subcontractors to ensure on-time, safe delivery.

Qualifications include 8+ years in civil construction management, a civil engineering degree, and proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD. English is basic; Malay and local project experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Construction field.
• 8+ years in civil construction management with at least one complete project.
• Experience in data centers or large-scale facilities preferred.
• Familiarity with prefabricated construction methods is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of Southeast Asia/Malaysia regulations.
• Strong communication, coordination, planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil works construction management for data center projects.
• Review and verify civil drawings; guide engineers and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage construction schedules; monitor progress.
• Prepare method statements, plans, and proposals.
• Supervise daily site activities; coordinate engineers and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, quality, cost, safety and compliance.
• Resolve on-site technical issues with practical solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, PMC consultants, and subcontractors.
• Support Project Manager in overall execution.
• Willing to be stationed full-time at project sites in Malaysia.
