Job description

The Data Artist is an expert user of data visualization software and is responsible for more complex and unusual data analyst needs. Responsibilities include finding and exploring compelling data sets and publishing them on the web to tell the world. This role works with research writers and others to help them visualize and publish data. The Data Artist needs to be a quantitative whiz who can also understand the human side of data: what it means, why it’s important.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance the branding of the company on websites and social media.
• Design and produce attractive multimedia content for websites and social media platforms.
• Create branding and marketing collateral which include infographics, posters, video editing, photography etc.
• Maintenance and update of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and others related matter.
• Conduct research on media techniques and design ideas, in order to create accurate animations.
• Work closely with Research team to design image, videos, GIF for digital marketing purpose.
• Collaborating with Corporate Resources and Research teams to determine appropriate visual, textual and animated elements of projects
• In-house concepts, Video & Graphic development for websites, Social Media platforms, Video content, scriptwriting & development.
• Produce videos that are creative and tell compelling stories/guidelines to capture the heart of the target audiences
• Preparing artwork and media for final approval and distribution
• Assist in photoshoot and videography for company functions/events.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
• Skills Required: WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, standard typography and graphic design knowledge.
• Good working knowledge of social media landscape and breaking media trends.
• An eye for creativity and aesthetics.
• Good interpersonal skills, pleasant personality and good team player
• Good time management, coordination and organizational skills
• Disciplined with positive working attitude and able to work under tight deadline.
• Ability to work independently to understand the presentation requirements for corporate identity programs / exhibitions / advertisements.
• Multi-skills in creative artwork include graphic design, digital photography, video skills would be added advantage.
