Job summary

OCBC in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a senior data analytics professional to partner with Wholesale Banking to identify growth levers across client coverage, lending, and risk management. You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior management.

You will develop analytical frameworks, dashboards, and predictive models, work with large datasets, and collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions and scalable analytics assets.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field (math, stats, CS).
• 7-8 years total experience with at least 5 in data analytics, preferably sales/marketing.
• Banking domain knowledge is helpful, esp. loans and credit risk analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to convey insights clearly.
• Experience with Python.

• Work with large and complex datasets to generate insights that improve client acquisition, portfolio growth, and relationship management strategies.

Who you are

• A degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
• Possess overall 7-8 years' work experience with at least 5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a sales or marketing context
• Possessing banking domain knowledge specifically with strong familiarity in analytics for loans and credit risk is helpful
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and compelling way
