Job summary

Hytech in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Data Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will analyze large datasets using Python and Databricks, create Power BI dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting that impacts performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and hands-on experience with BI tools, Spark, and ETL processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytics role.
• Proficiency in Power BI for building and maintaining reports and interactive dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or other big data processing frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, automation, and data transformation.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
