Job description

Minimum 2 years of experience in data operations, analysis or related fields.

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline is preferred.

Fluency in English, Malay & Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel functions.

Familiarity with common statistical or algorithmic methods used in data analysis.

Exposure to fintech or finance-related data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the Hire Purchase business to build and maintain a robust data support system.

• Define data standards, design metrics and optimize data products tailored to specific business scenarios.

• Independently prepare comprehensive data analysis reports, collaborating closely with Sales, Operations and Product teams to provide performance evaluation and actionable insights.

• Prepare regular management reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual) to provide timely insights on business performance and trends.

• Design budget analysis templates and build data models to perform calculations, document findings, and support strategic decision-making.
