Job description

The D&T Infrastructure Executive is responsible for the organization's overall IT infrastructure, operational management, and related projects that supports in daily operations.

The purpose of this role is to :

To work as part of APAC IT Team in managing the network, servers, daily backup, performs diagnostics, periodic preventive maintenance ensuring smooth operations and services uptime.

Administers network and servers related to LAN and WAN (e.g. IP address assignments, security patches, antivirus, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability and security of services.

Responsible for planning, implementing and supporting IT infrastructure for offices in the APAC region.

Proactive response to all incidents and ensure clear communication during an incident. Understanding the services impact and ensure minimal disruption and downtime.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide direct support for local IT infrastructure, including network, servers, end-user devices, and peripherals.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software for local users.
• Support local incident resolution and service requests in coordination with the global IT service desk.
• Monitor local systems and elevate issues as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation of local infrastructure assets and configurations.
• Assist in implementing local IT policies, procedures, and security measures.
• Support local backup and recovery processes.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and maintenance.
• Participate in local IT audits and compliance activities.
• Provide support during local infrastructure upgrades or changes.

Job Requirements (Experience and education)

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in networking, Windows server, VMware administration and support
• Knowledge of network architectures and principles of local and wide area enterprise network design and integration, including topologies and protocols
• Hands‑on experience with firewall, site‑to‑site VPN connections, routers and switches.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Servers, VMware, Symantec Backup Exec and Veeam Backup.
