Job summary

AIA is seeking a cybersecurity lead in Malaysia to strengthen data protection and risk governance across the organisation. The role focuses on risk assessments, secure design guidance, and regulatory compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia and Group standards.

You will monitor security operations, manage essential tools, and embed secure development practices while collaborating across IT and business teams to raise resilience and awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4+ years in cybersecurity, data protection, or technology risk.
• Certifications (Security+, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with AIA policies and Group standards.
• Advise on secure design and validate security controls for projects and initiatives.
• Monitor security operations and maintain key tools (DLP, EPP, WAF).
• Drive cybersecurity awareness and promote secure development practices.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders across units to strengthen security posture.
