Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia is seeking a Principal Security Consultant to translate clients' cybersecurity requirements into tailored security solutions across systems and product designs. You will lead security engagements, consulting with clients on secure configurations, deployments and patches to minimize vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or Engineering or related field.
• Industry relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GSEC or CompTIA Security+ essential.
• Extended experience in the Information Technology Security Industry or relevant experience in similar role within a related environment.
• Extended experience with security architecture design principles.
• Extended experience with industry compliance and standards such as ISO 27000, PCI DSS, NIST, HIPAA or others.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for key clients, building relationships with executives.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies aligned with clients’ objectives and standards.
• Lead complex security consulting projects from initiation to completion.
• Provide oversight on security assessments, risk, vulnerability, penetration testing, and audits.
• Guide design and deployment of security controls and architectures.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to thought leadership.
• Develop and test incident response plans and coordinate responses to incidents.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings and remediation plans.
