Job summary

Ericsson Malaysia is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to lead the Ericsson Managed Service security operations. The role involves detection engineering, incident management, and coordinating investigations with stakeholders across Ericsson and customer environments.

You will support incident response, prepare reports, and drive improvements in automation and threat intelligence. Travel to customer sites is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or engineering degree in relevant IT/telecom fields is required.
• 3–5 years of information/security experience in IT or cyber security.
• Experience with Managed Services delivery and security operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to SOC L1 and coordinate with L2/L3 for new detections.
• Analyze security events in real time and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate security incidents and ensure incident response processes are followed.
• Lead improvements in automation, AI/ML use within security services.
• Prepare governance and threat intelligence reports for management.
• Perform RCA and implement corrective actions.
