A leading cybersecurity firm in Malaysia is seeking a CyberSecurity Resident Engineer to oversee daily security operations. Responsibilities include monitoring security alerts, performing threat analysis, and managing PAM/AIM platforms. Qualifications

We are looking for a CyberSecurity Resident Engineer to work onsite with our client and support daily security operations. The engineer will manage, monitor, and troubleshoot security tools such as EDR, XDR, PAM, and AIM, ensuring strong protection of the customer’s IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage EDR/XDR security alerts and incidents
• Perform threat analysis, triage, and basic incident response
• Manage and support PAM/AIM platforms (privileged access & application credentials)
• Assist in onboarding new systems into security tools
• Provide weekly/monthly reports and documentation
• Coordinate with client teams and vendor support for escalations
• Ensure security policies and controls are followed

Required Skills

• 1–4 years experience in CyberSecurity or SOC operations
• Hands‑on knowledge of EDR, XDR, PAM, AIM tools
• Strong understanding of endpoint and identity security
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work onsite and communicate professionally
