Job Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and qualify equipment, tools/fixtures for production used. Perform periodic verification and calibration on equipment/tools/fixtures.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production process and improve yield.
• Seek a detail-oriented candidate with proven experience in epoxy bonding processes to manage and execute high-precision assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with optical alignment machines is a significant advantage for this position, as it will enhance the candidate's ability to achieve precise and accurate equipment setups.
• Observe and identify discrepancies, understand the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshoot at an appropriate level, and involve senior staff as needed.
• Communicate effectively with peers to enhance teamwork.
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence in workplace interactions.
• Derive continual improvement and optimize use of resources.
• Perform other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical or Electrical.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in MNC industries; 8 years’ experience in high-mix and high-volume manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
• Good computer literacy; SPC & OPAC knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills with a hands-on working attitude.
• Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes in business needs.
• Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing; poka-yoke principles are an added advantage.
