Job description

Person in Charge for Free Zone requirement & LMW application. Align the internal processes to the most updated customs and government regulations, keep a good company image and relationship with the local authorities

THE TASK

Organizing and planning the customs clearance work in high efficiency

Coordinate with other departments to ensure the implementation of import/export plan in low cost

Assess forwarders and customs declaration brokers to ensure the company be served in high quality service and low price

Maintain and improve the relationship with the customs officials

Execute and prescribe the process and instruction of transportation moving to overseas destinations

Deal with the files of customs documents.

Responsible for SST Compliances.

Handle customs documentation and reporting for Free Zone, LMW, Service & Repair and Warehouse & Distribution License.

Ensuring all HS Code of raw material and finished goods executed based on custom’s tariff code.

Prepare application for new and renewal (3-month license) of machinery, spare part, material and finished goods

Prepare and apply for remittance on raw material and finished goods for scrap purposes.

Maintain master data (weight & item grouping) in Navision System for LMW monthly & yearly report submission

Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators, measuring results and achievements, ensuring effective communication of the same

Ensure implementation, adherence and participation in Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures by applying to areas of responsibility

To continuously contribute, develop and implement ideas that improve performance

THE PERSON

Bachelor’s degree/diploma/SPM and above

Over 5 to 10 years work experience.

Experience in logistics is a must, experience in transportation preferred.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Strong analyzing, planning and organizational skills

Ability to communicate effectively with various team members, suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional team.

Proven track record of managing projects independently.
