A leading company is seeking a dynamic Operations Support Specialist to enhance customer service delivery. This role involves managing vendor relations, ensuring service excellence, and collaborating with the sales team to strengthen customer relationships. Ideal candidates should possess strong customer service skills and experience in operational support, with a focus on data integrity and performance monitoring.
– Ensure timely quotation is sent to the Customer and booking is confirmed & sent promptly.
– Support operations & Sales in executing service delivery.
– Manage carrier/vendor relations, including securing spot rates, equipment, space protections, priority haulage, and customs broker services to meet agreed service levels.
– Monitor timely resolution of issues/queries from the operations team and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
– Maintain data integrity across systems.
– Responsible for cross-selling/up-selling, customer retention, and follow-up on freight outstanding.
– Monitor, record, and report service performance, providing recommendations for improvement, whether for service wins or failures.
– Collaborate with the sales team to establish and strengthen customer relationships.
– Ensure service excellence and develop a best-in-class platform for customers/clients.
