Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing inquiries and end-to-end order processing from receipt to dispatch.
- Collaborate with key customers to gather and analyze demand forecasts, ensuring alignment with internal inventory and production capacity.
- Monitor and update customers on order status to ensure transparency, timely communication, and customer satisfaction.
Quotation
- Generate quotations by verifying product specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines for items from Camfil Malaysia and other global Group entities.
Processing Orders
- Served as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order management.
- Managed all aspects of order processing from receipt and verification through to acknowledgement, confirmation, and timely dispatch.
Monitoring of Orders
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding their order status, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.
Forecast Management
- Collaborated with key customers to gather, analyze, and consolidate their demand forecasts.
- To align with the internal team on customer forecasts with the inventory strategy, and manufacturing capacity.
Requirements
- Relevant Diploma/ Degree from a higher learning institution or equivalent competence gained in other ways.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience, preferably in a commercial support role in the manufacturing environment.
- IT savvy is essential, with proficiency in MS Office and experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) or order management systems.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both customers and internal teams.
- Basic problem-solving skills and maintain keen observation to identify and resolve issues promptly.
