Job summary

A global logistics company in Johor Bahru is seeking an operational assistant for Ocean (Import/Export) activities. The role involves customer booking management, working with teams on shipment arrangements, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Ideal candidates should be strong communicators and capable of handling multiple tasks to achieve departmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist operational Ocean (Import/Export) for Southern Region activities.
  • Assist on customer Booking, reporting via Cargowise (CW) System.
  • Work closely with Ground & EDI team for Ocean shipment arrangement.
  • Minimize operational costs.
  • Liaise with customers, trucking, haulier, carriers, and CFS.
  • Prepare AMS, ACI, FMC filing.
  • Reconcile vendors and ports invoices.
  • Ensure billing on time for customers or overseas office.
  • Drive to achieve departmental goal (zero CCA and meet Ocean KPI).
  • Attend to all customers' inquiries and respond on time.
  • Any other tasks assigned by management.
  • Ensure compliance with CEVA rules and regulations.

  • To assist operational Ocean (Import/Export) for Southern Region activities.
  • To assist on the customer Booking , reporting via Cargowise (CW) System
  • To work closely with the Ground & EDI team for the Ocean shipment arrangement (Haulage/Trucking/Custom Clearance)
  • To minimize all operational costs.
  • To liaise with customers, trucking, haulier, carriers, and CFS.
  • To prepare AMS, ACI, FMC filing.
  • To reconcile vendors and ports invoices.
  • To ensure billing/pre-alert on timer to customer or overseas office.
  • To define and driving to achieve departmental goal (zero CCA and meet the Ocean KPI).
  • To attend to all customers enquiries and respond on time.
  • To any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
  • To ensure compliance with the CEVA rules and regulations.
