the role

The Customer Quality Manager is the primary liaison between the company's quality department and its customers. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction by managing product quality, addressing complaints, and communicating quality performance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    Customer Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for all customer-related quality issues, acting as the voice of the customer within the organization.
    Complaint Management: Lead the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and quality-related returns. Drive 8D reports or other formal corrective action processes.
    Quality Performance Reporting: Regularly communicate product quality performance, including key metrics and improvement plans, to both customers and internal senior management.
    Supplier Quality: Collaborate with procurement and supplier quality teams to resolve issues with incoming materials that impact product quality or customer satisfaction.
    Audits & Compliance: Support customer-led quality audits and ensure that all products meet customer-specific quality requirements and certifications (e.g., IATF 16949).

the experience
