Job summary

ECO-SHOP Marketing Berhad (Retail) is seeking a cashier/counter staff to provide excellent customer service and handle transactions at our Shah Alam counter. You will assist customers, manage cash and card sales, and help keep the counter tidy and stocked, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and addressing inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Accurately handle transactions, manage the cash register, and monitor stock effectively.
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock, to avoid shortages.
