Job summary

A leading beverage packaging company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive to expand its business and manage key accounts. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of B2B sales experience. Candidates must be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. Job Responsibilities
  1. Assist in identifying and securing new business opportunities for the company.
  2. Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and finalise long-term supply agreements and contract terms.
  3. Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and can specifications to inform sales strategies.
  4. Serve as the primary contact, fostering and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with Key Accounts and decision-makers.
  5. Proactively understand customer production schedules, can specifications, and volume requirements.
  6. Handle all customer inquiries, complaints (e.g., quality, delivery), and issues promptly, coordinating with QA/QC and Production teams for quick resolution.
  7. Manage the entire sales cycle, from accurate order entry to tracking and final delivery.
  8. Coordinate closely with Production and Warehouse departments to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of products to customers.
  9. Generate accurate sales reports and forecasts to support internal planning and inventory management.
  10. Track account performance metrics and forecast sales activities.
  11. Undertake ad-hoc duties and special projects assigned by superiors.
Qualifications / Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a relevant technical/engineering field.
  2. Proven experience (2+ years) in B2B sales, account management, or customer service, ideally within the packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG industries.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  4. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is mandatory; Mandarin or other local dialects are highly advantageous.
  5. Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  6. Candidates must be comfortable with and prepared for periodic customer visits to Non-Halal premises.
