Job summary

A leading project management firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a CSA Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project management from design to construction. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or related fields and 8-15 years of relevant project management experience, particularly in large-scale commercial developments. The role involves ensuring project milestones are met, coordinating with design consultants and managing stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–15 years of project management experience, ideally with exposure to public venues.
  • Experience managing high-specification functional developments.
  • Strong understanding of mega structures and systems integrations.

Job Description
  • Lead end-to-end project management from design development through to construction and handover
  • Manage coordination between design consultants, contractors, client stakeholders, and operators
  • Ensure project milestones and quality benchmarks are met in line with client vision and operational objectives
  • Manage contract administration, programme scheduling, change management, cost plans, cost control and projections
  • Identify and report risks and early warnings; and implement mitigation strategies
  • Report regularly to the Project Director and Client on project progress, risks, and key decisions
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement, including local authorities and community representatives
Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent
  • Minimum 8–15 years of project management experience, ideally with exposure to public venues, campuses or commercial developments
  • Experience managing high-specification, architecturally driven functional developments
  • Strong technical understanding of mega structures for large venues, CSA, and specialist lecture theatre / hall systems
  • Proven stakeholder and consultant management skills
  • Prior experience on large span structures / buildings, lecture theatres, systems integrations
