About the Role

The Operational Resilience Management Team is responsible for the development and operation of OSTTRA’s business continuity and information technology disaster recovery program as well as Global Security, including geopolitical scanning.

The team works closely with business and support groups across all areas of the enterprise to identify recovery requirements, implement effective strategies for recovery, and guide the development of actionable recovery plans with validation through testing.

The position promotes the development of effective deliverables that support the strategic recovery objectives of OSTTRA’s services. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an experienced global business continuity team at a dynamic company. The role also works with Global Security to ensure we fulfil our Duty of Care of our staff.

Responsibilities and Impact
  • Assist in the development, review, and enhancement of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) in partnership with BCP Owners, ensuring plans remain current, functional, and aligned with organizational requirements.
  • Support and help conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), including data collection, assessment of critical functions, identification of dependencies, and evaluation of recovery time objectives.
  • Provide advisory support to BCP Owners, guiding them through the BCP lifecycle, readiness expectations, and required updates following exercises or organizational changes.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver workshops on the BCP Framework, ensuring stakeholders understand methodology, activation procedures, and their responsibilities during disruptions.
  • Assist in coordinating cross‑functional crisis readiness activities, including tabletop exercises, scenario planning, and after‑action reviews to strengthen organizational preparedness.
  • The Coordinator will primarily be responsible for monitoring the geopolitical activities for domestic and global office locations for OSTTRA.
  • The Coordinator will also monitor and administer the Corporate Notification Center Crisis Management System and Employee Hotline, sending alerts to relevant groups via incident messaging system and email.
  • Coordinate with the facilities teams for OSTTRA offices and ensure there are Office Emergency Plans in place.
  • Assist the Senior Operational Analyst with proactive work for readiness as tests and other projects.

What We’re Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications
  • Experience with working internationally in evaluating risk and geopolitical analysis based on data.
  • Experience within BCP and DR.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work in a global team environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with peers and stakeholders.
  • Fully proficient with Google applications.
  • Fluent in English.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job‑related experience.
  • Project management skills, including task identification, project planning, and the ability to coordinate critical activities during continuity exercises and events, and proficiency with tools required to pull projects together.
