Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking a policy management professional within the Risk function to oversee end-to-end policy governance and timely renewal of credit policies in line with evolving regulations.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or Business, with at least 3 years in banking and strong analytical abilities. A collaborative, detail-oriented approach and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of banking experience, preferably in retail lending or credit risk management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with knowledge of portfolio analytics methodologies.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills across stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, initiative, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within tight timelines.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end policy management within Risk and ensure timely review of credit policies.
• Maintain consistency between local risk policies and Group standards.
• Develop and maintain local credit policies addressing regulatory expectations.
• Establish disciplined policy governance and clear stakeholder communication.
• Engage stakeholders across Business, Risk, and Compliance to ensure practical policies.
• Monitor portfolio risk indicators and implement remediation strategies.
• Drive portfolio management strategies for higher-risk segments.
