Overview

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive credit evaluation on new-to-bank and existing customers by reviewing financial statements, cash flow projections, business plans and other relevant information to assess creditworthiness;
  • Evaluate debt repayment ability based on factors such as income, assets, debts, employment status, credit history and other related factors;
  • Provide recommendations on credit limit/approvals based on the outcome of the credit evaluation process;
  • Monitor and control overdue accounts, negotiating payment schedules when necessary;
  • Ensure all credit proposals are processed within agreed turnaround time;
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer’s credit history and account status in the bank’s system;
  • Comply with all applicable internal policies and procedures including credit policy manual and operating instructions;
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports on credit proposals and outstanding loans.
Job Requirements
  • Degree holder in Finance, Accountancy or Economics;
  • Fresh graduates are welcome;
  • Experience in banking industry will be advantageous;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications;
  • Knowledge in SAP and CMS will be added advantage.
