Job summary

Fipper Retail Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a creative Graphic Designer Intern to support the Marketing Department in crafting visual materials for social media, campaigns, events and retail displays.

You will gain hands-on experience across digital and physical platforms with a fast-moving lifestyle brand. As an intern, you will collaborate with the Marketing Team, follow brand guidelines, and develop concepts for seasonal campaigns while honing layout, color and typography skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Creative Media or related field
• Familiar with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Good understanding of layout, typography, colour and visual composition
• Creative and interested in fashion, lifestyle, retail and social media trends
• Able to follow brand guidelines while contributing fresh creative ideas
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple artwork requests
• Willing to receive feedback and make artwork amendments when required
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with the Marketing Team
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, CapCut or other creative software is an advantage
• Basic photography and videography skills are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing marketing materials based on campaign briefs and brand guidelines
• Create artwork for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other digital channels
• Develop visual concepts and layouts for campaigns, promotions and product launches
• Resize and adapt approved artwork into different formats and dimensions
• Assist in designing promotional materials for retail outlets such as posters, buntings, banners, window displays, price cards and promotional signage
• Prepare artwork according to required printing specifications and sizes
• Work closely with the Marketing Team to develop creative social media content
• Assist in developing key visuals for seasonal campaigns, promotions and new product launches
• Perform basic photo retouching, colour correction and image manipulation
• Assist in designing event materials including backdrops, standees, signage, invitations and display materials
