Job summary

An established events and construction company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Creative Executive to lead creative projects and work closely with a team. Responsibilities include conception and implementation of creative ideas, client proposals, and team guidance. Candidates should have a diploma/degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in the event industry. Proficiency in design tools is required. Competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in the Creative line mainly in the Event/Exhibition business.
  • Experience in event operations and production.
  • Ability to handle strategizing, campaign execution and art direction.

Job description

We are an established events and construction company in KL looking for immediate hiring of a Creative Executive (Events).

Location : Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur

Position : Creative Executive

Salary : RM3,000 – RM5,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Conceive and implement concepts, creative ideation, guidelines and strategies in various creative event projects and oversee them to completion
  • To create proposal and presentation decks to clients
  • To work with a team of designers, illustrators, copywriters
  • Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas
  • Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team
  • Train and guide junior staff into accomplished professionals
  • Problem solving, space planning, on-site technical surveying & measuring
  • Required to work closely with the sales and operations team to conceptualise ideas and submit proposals on time
  • May be required to take on client servicing role when required
Qualification & Skills
  • Diploma/Degree in advertising, fine art, design or related disciplines
  • Proven experience of minimum 2 years in Creative line mainly in the Event/Exhibition business
  • Experience in event operations and production
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D MAX, V-RAY & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • Ability to handle strategizing, campaign execution and art direction
  • Strong presentation, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time and project management with a proven ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
