Creative Director — Product UI & Visual Design

We are looking for Creative Director — Product UI & Visual Design who will be responsible for shaping and managing the entire product design ecosystem across all WSG business units. This role ensures design excellence and consistency across global markets by establishing and maintaining a unifiedDesign System, elevating product UI quality, and leading a high-performing, cross-functional design team.

This role focuses exclusively onproduct UI and visual systems, not on marketing or brand advertising. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision, hands‑on design experience, and strong team leadership to build a scalable and globally aligned visual framework.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a Multicultural Designer across APAC, structured into UI, Graphic, and Template/Component teams.

Define team goals, workflows, and delivery standards that ensure creative excellence and timely execution.

Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration across locations.

Recruit, coach, and develop design leaders capable of scaling operations in new markets.

Establish clear KPIs and maintain performance consistency aligned with organizational objectives.

b) Product Visual Direction & Design System Governance

Own and drive theglobal design system including color, typography, layout, components, and UI frameworks.

Ensure all products follow a cohesive design language that reflects our company brand identity and enhances usability.

Oversee the design and rollout of visual assets for multiple regions (Asia Pacific and Latin America).

Partner with Product and UX teams to translate user insights into refined, user‑friendly visual solutions.

Continuously evolve design standards to support localization and cultural preferences across markets.

c) Graphic Design & Visual Consistency

Define visual principles for key product interfaces, promotional visuals, and in‑app content.

Build and maintain a repository of graphic templates to streamline design production.

Oversee design reviews to ensure every output meets global quality standards — modern, clean, and well‑balanced.

Champion visual excellence through constant refinement, scalability, and creative discipline.

d) Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and UX Research teams to ensure designs are practical and implementable.

Partner with regional business heads to ensure local market adaptation aligns with the global brand framework.

Collaborate with front‑end developers for seamless handover and technical integration.

Maintain strong coordination across different time zones and cultural contexts.

Candidate Profile
Professional Expertise

10–15 years of professional experience in visual design, product UI/UX, or digital interface development.

Minimum 3 years of proven leadership experience managing mid‑sized to large creative teams (10–20 members).

Demonstrated success in building aDesign Systemfrom inception to implementation.

Proficiency inFigma,Photoshop, andIllustrator; familiarity with front‑end principles is a plus.

Strong product orientation — experience in designing functional, scalable digital interfaces rather than marketing visuals.

Strategic mindset with hands‑on capability when needed.

Leadership

High emotional intelligence with strong communication and influencing skills.

Able to inspire and guide creative professionals across different markets and cultures.
