Job summary

GrowthOps Asia is seeking a Design Intern in Malaysia to gain hands-on experience creating social content, digital ads, and campaign materials while collaborating with the design and account teams on real client work.

You will support with photo editing, layout design, and concept development. A portfolio is required, and this internship offers a minimum three-month commitment starting August/September 2026.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro is a bonus.
• Good eye for layout, typography, colour and visual storytelling.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Open to feedback, proactive and eager to learn.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant design work is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of social media content, digital ads, presentations and campaign materials.
• Adapt key visuals into different formats and platform sizes.
• Assist with basic photo editing, retouching and layout design.
• Help translate creative ideas and briefs into visual concepts.
• Source visual references and contribute to moodboards.
• Work closely with designers, copywriters and account teams.
• Manage design files and ensure assets are properly organised.
• Make revisions based on internal and client feedback.
• Support shoots and production work when needed.
• Keep up with current design, social media and content trends.
