Job summary

Great Promotions is seeking a Creative and Product Designer in Malaysia to turn briefs into polished production-ready designs across product mockups, branding, packaging, and marketing visuals. You'll own briefs from concept to final artwork, collaborate with sales and account teams, and contribute to the team's creative direction while exploring AI design tools to boost speed and quality.

A relevant graphic design qualification and experience in promotional products are preferred.

Qualifications

• Creative design skills with strong concept development and visual storytelling.
• Mandarin reading preferred, as briefs may involve Chinese factories.
• Proficiency in print and product graphics, layout and colour usage.
• Basic understanding of digital/interface aesthetics for online materials.
• Hands-on experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent.
• Ability to translate client briefs into production-ready designs with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Diploma/degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in promotional products, FMCG, licensing, or toy/collectible design is a plus.

Responsibilities

Role Description

We're looking for a Creative and Product Designer who can turn briefs into polished, production-ready designs, and who brings ideas to the table rather than waiting for them. You'll work across product mockups, branding, packaging, and marketing visuals, and you'll have real room to shape our creative direction.

What You'll Do

• Design product mockups, branded merchandise visuals, packaging, and marketing collateral for client and internal projects

What we are looking for

• Creative design skills, including strong concept development and visual storytelling (Creative Design, Branding).
• Mandarin speaking and reading are preferred, as we may be reading design briefs to Chinese factoriess from time to time
• Proficiency in graphic work for print and products, including layout, composition, and colour usage (Graphics, Graphic Design).
• Basic understanding of digital and interface aesthetics for online materials and presentations (Web Design).
• Hands‑on experience with industry‑standard design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, or equivalent software.
• Ability to translate client briefs into practical, production‑ready designs, with keen attention to detail and deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in promotional products, FMCG, licensing, or toy/collectible design is an advantage.
