Who we are?

Brdgx is the go-to digital treasury platform that enables business clients in Asia to efficiently manage and execute international payments and collections. We enable intra-Asia and local-currency access, allowing them to manage and enhance their transactions, increase cost competitiveness, and gain valuable insights into their financial positions.

We are looking for you who would:

As the country manager, the candidate would be based in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will lead the business team, develop go-to-market plans, and achieve business goals in a startup environment. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, possesses strong experience in a similar role providing solutions in cross-border payments.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • As country leader: Lead, direct, and evaluate direct reports and team members to align on overall business strategies and achieve sales goals at country level; Deliver financial results by driving and championing a client‑centric sales mindset within the organization;
  • As business developer: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with financial institutions (banks, payment companies, card schemes) and partners in Malaysia. Lead commercial negotiations, pitch Brdgx, complete due diligence, maintain active relationships with partners, and ensure technical teams have the resources they need for integration. Identify the best partnership arrangements to support Brdgx's business expansion.
  • As senior management: Ensure compliance policies and controls are effectively implemented, communicated, and understood throughout the organization. Manage compliance team to maintain accurate, complete records of all business transactions and ensure timely submission of required reports to BNM.
Professional Experience / Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree Holder
  • Minimum 7 years working experience in financial institutions or licensed fintech organizations.
