Job Description

This company is looking to appoint a Country Manager to support senior project delivery leadership in Malaysia. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in engineering project leadership, with the ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and manage senior internal and external stakeholders across complex delivery environments. The Country Manager will be responsible for driving project governance and ensuring strong performance across delivery, cost control, schedule management, risk oversight, execution planning, and client-facing engagement. This role requires an individual who can operate effectively at senior level, provide leadership presence across project functions, and maintain delivery ownership across technically complex energy and engineering programmes. This Country Manager opportunity is focused on project leadership rather than purely technical or operational responsibilities. The role will require close collaboration with senior management and international stakeholders, while ensuring that engineering projects are executed to a high standard across a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

• Strong senior-level project leadership background in engineering, EPC, oil and gas, or energy environments
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale multidisciplinary projects and teams
• Strong capability in project governance, delivery ownership, cost, schedule, and risk management
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to engage effectively with senior management and international stakeholders
• Strong leadership presence across complex engineering project environments
• Experience gained in brownfield, greenfield, offshore, EPC, or engineering consultancy settings
