Country Development Lead - Land & Government Affairs

COMPUTILITY TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.

Identify and evaluate suitable land or industrial properties for data center development.

Lead commercial negotiations with industrial parks, developers, and landowners.

Manage land due diligence, planning consultations, and preliminary technical feasibility assessments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, industrial parks, and key stakeholders.

Map out key processes from land acquisition to project commencement.

Coordinate with internal technical, legal, and engineering teams as well as external consultants.

Identify risks related to policy, compliance, land, and construction, and develop mitigation strategies.

Support headquarters with investment evaluation, project proposals, and development strategy.

Familiarity with land transactions, industrial park development models, or government engagement processes.

Understanding of key requirements for industrial or data center projects (power, planning, infrastructure).

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Ability to independently drive projects from concept to execution with strong results orientation.

Fluent proficiency in the local language. Able to conduct communication and negotiation with government bodies, industrial parks, and landowners in the local language.

English at business‑working level for communication, reporting, and collaboration with teams in other countries.
