Job summary

Ibnu Sina Wellness Sdn Bhd is seeking a compassionate Counsellor to join its multidisciplinary team. The role follows the Biopsychosocial-Spiritual model to support patient wellbeing.

You will conduct intake assessments, develop care plans, and deliver therapy sessions for individuals, couples and families while monitoring progress and maintaining confidential records. Collaboration with other departments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counselling or related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on counselling experience.
• Registered with Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (LKM).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathetic, ethical and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and psychological screenings.
• Develop individualized counselling care plans.
• Deliver therapy sessions for individuals, couples and families where applicable.
• Monitor client progress and maintain professional case notes.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional counselling ethics.
• Collaborate with other departments to support patient care.
• Prepare content for conferences and educational initiatives.
• Conduct research and draft e-book chapters for review.
