About our client:

Our client, a globally recognized brand in the Retail industry, is seeking a Costing Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will report directly to the Head of Finance as the company continues its journey toward the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze monthly reports, prepare financial forecasts, and explain sales and profitability variances for the plant, including budgeting.
  • Assess industrial costs for the plant, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize performance and drive improvements.
  • Monitor and propose strategies to enhance capital expenditure (Capex) efficiency and inventory management performance.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Industrial Director and their team on business matters, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights, covering Capex, cost savings, cost structures, and other critical metrics, to enable effective business decision‑making.
  • Supply detailed cost structure and inflation data to the sales team, supporting customer negotiations, enhancing profitability, and guiding pricing strategies.
  • Prepare regular profitability analyses by customer and product (profit pool analysis) and recommend actionable strategies to boost business profitability.
  • Oversee and validate investment plans, standard cost setups, internal audits, and balance sheet reviews, while approving customer orders, POs, contracts, and Capex requests and effectively communicating financial results to both finance and non‑finance audiences.
Key Requirements:
  • Min degree with CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or any related.
  • Min 6-8 years of working experience in industrial controlling.
  • Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills with good business acumen & strategic thinking.
  • Highly‑motivated, results‑oriented, and forward‑thinking leader/team player with good work ethic, credibility, and sense of integrity.
