Job summary

HPMT Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior costing professional to manage product costing, standard costing, BOM costing, and cost allocation within our ERP system. The role analyzes manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability to support strategic decisions and prepares comprehensive management reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in costing or manufacturing finance.
• Strong knowledge of costing, standard costing, BOM, variance analysis, and inventory costing.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Acumatica ERP experience is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain product costing, standard costing, BOM costing, and cost allocation within the ERP system.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, cost variances, and product profitability to support business decisions.
• Prepare costing reports, management reports, and financial analysis for management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, new product costing, quotation costing, and pricing analysis.
• Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance to ensure accurate costing data.
• Monitor inventory costing, stock valuation, and cost movements, recommending cost-saving opportunities.
• Support ERP (Acumatica) costing enhancements, process improvements, and other ad hoc finance assignments.
