Job summary

CMA CGM Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Executive, Cost Control to support the verification, monitoring and control of operational, transport, and logistics costs. You will review invoices, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate cost processing.

The role requires ensuring adherence to cost control procedures across brands, analysing cost data and preparing reports and KPIs for management review, with ad hoc projects

Qualifications

• Cost Control executive responsible for verifying, monitoring and controlling operational, transport and logistics costs.
• Review invoices, identify discrepancies, maintain cost control records and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely cost processing.
• Ensure Cost Control procedures for all brands are followed and applied consistently.
• Analyse cost data and prepare reports, statistics and KPIs for management review.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments, projects or responsibilities as assigned by the Manager, Senior Manager or Management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Cost Control procedures for all brands are followed and applied consistently.
• Review and validate operational, transport, logistics, feeder, and M&R costs for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform detailed analysis of cost variances and identify discrepancies for resolution.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and recover overcharged costs.
• Monitor invoice approval status and ensure timely processing.
