EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 6-Month Contract Role (with potential for conversion to a permanent position)

SALARY: RM3,000 per month during the contract period

Job Overview

To support processes of China operation team by extracting, analysing, and organising financial data from Mandarin-language financial statements. Liaise effectively with counterparts in China to ensure accurate and timely delivery of tasks. Assist senior team members in head office reporting with some of their reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Financial statement Extraction and Data Entry
  • Review Mandarin-language financial statements and extract key information.
  • Analyse and input the data accurately into standard excel template.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data entry.
Checking and Quality Assurance
  • Review and verify data entries completed by other team members in Excel template to ensure compliance with the “4-eyes principle.”
  • Cross-check extracted financial data for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
Liaising with Counterparts
  • Communicate and coordinate with counterparts in China to clarify financial data or reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders based in China.
Supporting Head Office Reporting
  • Assist senior team members in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Handle simple reporting tasks assigned by seniors to ensure smooth financial reporting process.
Compliance and Confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and data protection guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling financial documents and sensitive data.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Preferably Entry Level specialised in Accounting.
  • No work experience required.
  • Minimum CGPA is 3.0 pointer.
  • Strong team player with strong interpersonal and communicative skills.
  • Fluent verbal and written in English and Mandarin.
  • MS Office and etc.

NOTE: Successful candidates will be employed on a 6-months contract directly under Commerz Global Service Solutions Sdn Bhd. Upon completion of the Corporate Trainee Program, permanent employment will be offered based on the overall performance evaluation throughout the 6 months program.
