Qualifications

  • Minimum relevant working experience: Senior Executive – at least 3 years; Assistant Manager – at least 5 years; Manager – 8 years and above.
  • Experience in public listed companies is an added advantage.

Job description
Corporate Secretary (Senior Executive/Assistant Manager/Manager)
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit statutory forms, returns, and documents to the Companies Commission of Malaysia and relevant authorities within prescribed deadlines.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the Constitution, shareholders’ agreements, board charters, terms of references of board committees, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update statutory registers, minutes books, and other corporate records.
  • Manage the physical and electronic filing system, ensuring all documents are accurate and readily accessible for audits and regulatory review.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and papers.
  • Draft resolutions, minutes of meeting, and announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
  • Co‑ordinate logistics for meetings.
  • Liaise with relevant internal and external parties.
  • Process documentation related to incorporation, share issuance and transfers, changes in capital, dividend payments, etc.
Qualifications
  • Possess a secretarial qualification (or currently pursuing).
  • Minimum relevant working experience:
    • Senior Executive – at least 3 years
    • Assistant Manager – at least 5 years
    • Manager – 8 years and above
  • Proficient in using secretarial software, including MyCoID, MBRS, and eBOS.
  • Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2016 and basic corporate procedures.
  • Meticulous, able to work independently, and able to cope with tight timelines under a stressful work environment.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Experience in public listed companies is an added advantage.
