Responsibilities
We are seeking individuals with strong technical capabilities in valuation to join our Valuation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex valuation engagements across diverse industries and client types.
As part of the Valuation team, you’ll be involved in technically challenging assignments that span:
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Supporting clients on both the buy-side and sell-side with valuation insights that drive negotiation and decision-making.
- Financial Modelling & Valuation Analysis: Building and reviewing detailed financial models to support a variety of valuation purposes, including strategic transactions, dispute resolution, and financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting Valuations: Assisting clients with valuations for purchase price allocations (PPA), intangible assets, impairment testing, and other financial reporting requirements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Dispute & Litigation Support: Providing independent valuations for shareholder disputes, legal proceedings, and regulatory reviews.
- Fund & Portfolio Valuations: Advising fund managers and institutional investors on the valuation of illiquid or unlisted assets.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support financial due diligence and business valuation engagements across various contexts such as M&A, financial modelling, financial reporting, and disputes.
- Understand the key business drivers of different companies, analyse financial and non-financial data including quality of earnings, quality of assets, cash flow and working capital, customer, and supplier matters.
- Assist to identify critical findings and potential risks, derive insightful recommendations, and communicate concise findings to our clients.
- Contributing to business development initiatives, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and market research.
- Assist to analyse and assess the reasonableness of the assumptions used, including navigating financial models.
- Coordinate / collaborate closely with other GT departments / other advisors, etc.
- Coaching, supervising, and developing junior team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and team growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in global accounting firms, with solid technical knowledge and hands‑on experience in business valuation.
- Degree and/or professional qualification in finance/accounting (ACCA/ICAEW/CPA etc.).
- Possession of CMSA certification will be considered an added advantage.
- Experience in technical areas such as financial modelling or financial derivatives valuation is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrates proven expertise and success in leadership roles providing valuation services to clients.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and good commercial acumen, with understanding of business and industry dynamics.
- Highly adaptable, able to work independently and effectively under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel.
