As a Corporate Finance Manager in the Energy industry, you will be responsible for managing all corporate finance matters from financial strategies, analyzing financial performance, and supporting key business decisions. Description
Financial Modelling & Valuation
  • Develop, refine, and maintain complex financial models to evaluate new projects, investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and risk assessments to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare valuation analyses for potential acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures.
Project & Investment Analysis
  • Lead financial due diligence and feasibility studies for capital projects and investment opportunities.
  • Assess ROI, payback periods, and long-term financial impact of proposed initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations to management and the Board based on rigorous financial evaluation.
Capital Management & Funding
  • Support capital raising activities including debt, equity, and alternative financing structures.
  • Evaluate funding strategies to optimize capital structure and cost of capital.
  • Liaise with banks, investors, and financial advisors on financing arrangements.
Strategic Planning & Advisory
  • Partner with business units to provide financial insights on operational and strategic decisions.
  • Deliver clear presentations and reports to senior management, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors.
  • Advise on corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions, and portfolio optimization.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and report on investment/project performance against forecasts and KPIs.
  • Highlight risks, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Profile

A successful Corporate Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in corporate finance.
